To Whom It May Concern,

It is great to look forward to old age and have a decent pension. But like everything else it has a price, you may not be entitled to a Clothing grant, Fuel allowance or a Medical card as with the increased pension, it means that you are over the threshold. So, I am asking for safeguards against this happening.

Example 1
Secondary Benefits for C.E. Schemes has not risen since it was first introduced in 1994 (€317.43) and this threshold should be the same as the F.I.S. threshold.

Example 2
Deserted Wife's Benefit changed last year for the first time from €17,500 to €20,000.00 since there was a threshold put on it. The threshold should be at least €25,000.00 now.
